Alright new followers.
About me,
Been a birder since 2021, might be fanatical about it.
Parkrun will always be great.
Iron Maiden (June 25th, Dublin)
If there’s a new way
I’ll be the first in line
But it better work this time
Today's regularly scheduled 10am Peregrine attack on the Montrose Snowy Owls. Third day in a row they've done this dance. 11/23/2025

Considering what my year list for 2026 will be.

Lessons have been learnt from this year.

A higher list is possible, while considering time constraints and trips planned.

Also, I failed to reach 160 this year sooooo

Labour are driving themselves off a cliff chasing Reform over immigration policies.
The far-right now have an official foghorn supplied by Labour.
Racist bastards, the lot of them.

What has the RSPB got to say about farming in the UK?
For months, ministers have been pushing a false choice between nature and growth.

Now, new research shows just how out of touch they are.

With data from More In Common, it's time to set the record straight. 👇

Life is meaningless

Our future is in ashes

The world is burning

Societal apathy has rendered us helpless

No one will save me

Sir Keir Starmer has been specifically named in a UN report for complicity in Israel's genocide.

The report states that the UK government played "a key role in military collaboration with Israel... a collective crime... with detailed knowledge and cooperation in the destruction of Gaza." 🧵

Quick Cop 30 update:

Leaders haven’t done shit to protect the planet, and they won’t start now.

Starmer only listens to lobbyists anyway.

Nobody will save us.

I’m more confused than ever 😂
Decent scares, exposition heavy, alright I guess.
Now, can someone talk to me about that ending?

Lovely morning for it.

Concerning thread.
Certainly throws the idea of wildfowl vagrancy in doubt. Especially Garganey….
Interesting(!) that these captive-bred ducks for sale in East Yorkshire seem to be unringed in very many cases. Baikal, Blue-winged, Green-winged Teals, plus Garganeys. Dread to think how many end up in the wild and in local bird reports... #ukbirding

The fact I can see Raven and Buzzard from the house.
Yellowhammer, not so much.
Raven, Red Kite, Buzzard, which when I first visited Norfolk in the early 1980s was unimaginable, I was used to seeing them all in Wales, but there Waxwing was an unlikely sight.
