Three weeks of talking about affordability
Thousands of prices rising
Hundreds of tariffs raised
Zero substantive policies announced
Dozens of lies that prices are coming down
One billionaire calling your concern about affordability a “con job.”

This, from @edwardluce.bsky.social, is exactly right. The campaign against Venezuela has everything--lunacy, arrogance, disregard for US interests, disregard for the law, murder, hypocrisy, contempt for the military, contempt for our allies, values and international agreements. 100% pure Trump.
"America is being led by men whom senior brass do not respect. Trump's message is that the law is for wimps. Eisenhower said that plans are worthless but planning is everything. If Trump goes for regime change, it will be on the basis of Hegseth’s planning." My column. on.ft.com/4rrwMLj

A most important question on the Sept. 2 double-tap strike is who had "target engagement authority" (TEA).

Wall Street Journal:

"A Defense Department official ... said Hegseth was the 'target engagement authority,' the key figure who authorized the strike."

It's great that reporting on the double tap has spotlighted the abject criminality of this Administration.

But don't forget: Venezuela is not waging war on America or Americans, and the men killed were not combatants.

The first strike was every bit as illegal as the second.
