This is also how I think we've been losing the fight on all progressive gains.
The people are so far removed from the consequences of not having certain protections that they just don't think they are necessary. A whole generation of progressives don't remember life before them.

The “problem” with vaccines? They so effective at preventing deaths that they create generations of people that question whether disease was a problem in the first place because they have never experienced the horrors of a world without vaccines.

Those of us who were Eyes on the Prize kids are the last I have a dream generation in terms of really being brought up in our history and legacy.
And it’s so so sad to see the way all that effort and hope has been squandered. Breaks my heart.
