I worked with computers from the 9th grade until I retired. Same thing as this person. One of my favorite quotes, is "Hardware eventually breaks. Software eventually works." And even that might a little optimistic.

Every dog owner knows, or should, that if you get down into the "dog zone," you're not going to be doing what you thought you were going to do. You're going to be interacting with the dog(s). They rightly interpret you getting down on their level as an invitation.

I once hired a landscaper who offered water for my dogs when we were out for a walk on a hot day. I figured anyone that cared about other people's dogs was worth giving an opportunity. And, it worked out for both of us.

I've seen AnnieS do this before, for someone who had a well-loved pet. Her work is always phenomenally good, verging on, if not actually accomplishing, photo-realism. Amazing work by a wonderful person and artist.

I just made lasagna for the second time, ever, and I have to say... Whoever invented lasagna had some real mental health issues. Masochism, for one. The amount of work that goes into it is just incredible. The only saving grace, of course, is that the end product tastes amazing. Still...

There were many, many, good signs at the local #handsoff protest today. Many were funny, all were heartfelt. This one, however, was my favorite of them all. Simple and direct, to say the least.

This is how a true master musician thinks. It took him *decades* before he was satisfied with his performance of this piece. Yet, I would bet that every performance prior was viewed by others as excellent in every respect. He's beyond amazing.

This is how a true master musician thinks. It took him *decades* before he was satisfied with his performance of this piece. Yet, I would bet that every performance prior was viewed by others as excellent in every respect. He's beyond amazing.

Did you ever take a CPR class? Where they teach you to "sweep" a victim's mouth with your finger(s) to see if they have anything blocking their breathing? *That's* what I wind up doing with my dogs. Usually on a walk, so no towels. Sigh. #DogsofBlueSky
