Bringing up Farage being a racist won't shift any opinions on him. Pushing him on the fact his close associates take Russian money will.

I could probably compile all of this lad’s threads into a handbook and start a decency cult.
A friend who teaches theology shared with me a post about CS Lewis's Mere Christianity, which discusses foundational Christian logic across denominations. It reminded me of Dale's tweet below, and I wanted to share some thoughts here regarding modesty and respectability, which are often hot topics.

What are the pros/cons to an Olympic swimmer of holding in their farts?

No, the opposite - and I base that on musical ability.
When Dracula complimented the singing of his Children of the Night he wasn’t on about some screeching moggies.
The defense rests m’lud.
I don't deny that dogs can sometimes be quite lovely but what I will say is I don't trust their opinions. If a cat recommended me an album it had bought, I'd totally check it out. If a dog did the same, I'd promise to listen to the album, out of politeness, with no intention of actually doing so

Yes he may have bungled his response to a lethal pandemic, but this book about Shakespeare that Boris wrote instead of attending those COBR meetings will clearly stand the test of time.

It looks very much like the Telegraph has attracted entirely the wrong kind of attention from a sitting judge.
Quite the correction by the Telegraph. The publication in question is @freemovement.bsky.social

But when we crave power over life—endless wealth, unassailable safety, immortality—then desire becomes greed. And if knowledge allies itself to that greed, then comes evil. Then the balance of the world is swayed, and ruin weighs heavy in the scale.

President Zelenskyy came to the White House, looking for help from his longstanding ally.

He was ambushed, humiliated and berated for not being grateful enough.

Prince Bone Saw bin 9/11 came to the White House, for the first time since he ordered the murder of Jamal Khashoggi.

He was revered.

We’ve had a series of things on since Sept so work on the #Allotment has been patchy at best.

My mower won’t start (fuel pipe issue) and the beds look like a rewilding project.
I need a team of navvies to get back on track!

Everyone knows the old "You can fascinate a woman with a piece of cheese" thing, so what if we got a bunch of gold things, like Ferrero Rocher wrappers or whatever, and just made a little trail leading off a short pier

The BBC should reply to Trump’s suing them for portraying him as an insurrectionist by doing another documentary about him being a paedophile.
Let’s have a court look at that one.

This is Keir Starmer’s moment to stand up for Britain and call on Trump to drop his ludicrous lawsuit against the BBC.

The Prime Minister has spent months cosying up to Trump. If he can’t stop him from attacking one of our most precious institutions, what was it all for?
