I once bought a collar for a friendly cat and attached a very small note to it inside one of those little metal pill cases, the kind that unscrews and has a loop to put on a chain. Maybe you can try to find out if an owner exists that way. Worked for me!

iirc men perceive the man/woman speaker balance to be "equal" when it's about 80/20, and if it goes to 70/30 then they think women "dominated" the conversation

I might end up talking about this graph all day.

I think one thing Dems need to realize is that "Americans" are not buying into the "cities on fire" lies of this admin.

It's JUST Republicans. So if you're a governor of a solidly blue state, or a blue-city mayor, the national story is NOT YOURS.

This is why I think the next Democratic president needs to use the EXACT tools that SCOTUS has handed Trump. Don't leave room for any distinctions.

Impound funds for deportation. Give ICE the USAID treatment. Refuse to collect government-backed debt. Purge MAGA loyalists from the executive branch.

It really can't be said enough: the goal of the "anti-woke" movement was always to destroy social norms against bigotry. And it worked. And there's a whole lot of purportedly "left" thinkers & commentators who helped it -- indeed, it couldn't have been done without them.

They should feel bad.
