CDC's “disease detective" fellows are the first boots on the ground during outbreak responses. They bring a wide range of expertise. They are now threatened with termination. Removing our fellows makes us less efficient at responding to health threats and blocks a major CDC talent pipeline.

Our current health care system is not designed to provide quality care to all people.
It is designed to make huge profits for insurance & drug companies.
In that sense, the system is working very well.
But it is not working for the average American.
We need Medicare for All.
