Yeah I don't think "they're funding it out of profit" is right anymore. It was until recently. Oracle just did over $10bn in bonds to finance their buildout and OpenAI is doing hundreds of billions of commitments based on *handwaves*. It's still absolutely true for AMZN GOOGL META MSFT to be sure.
