Instead of starting with a complaint, I approached this as a Confused American Consumer who doesn't understand why they can't buy things off a website they use

Recent unsealed internal messages from Facebook expose FB 100% knew they trained their GenAi on stolen works. It also shows how concerned FB is that lawmakers listen to rightholders (creatives, academics, etc) of the works they stole.

As someone who has done a bit of DMing in 5E, I found that I needed to keep the PHB just to flick back to occasionally for rule checking but I can understand the sentiment.
As for unwillingness for to try other TTRPGs, That could be for a variety of reasons (including this one).
