I'm team "just give people money" but this would be a huge strategic fuckup for the dems when they could be hammering trump over tariffs and filing bills that aim to reduce them (and his ability to impose them).

If you're in Massachusetts and your landlord asks you to pay for some sort of screening, they can't legally charge you for that.

They might be using a tool where this is the default, but it's still illegal. Don't pay for things you don't have to.

For me, a person who had a unit on the civil war in 8th grade and thought of it similar to revolutionary history, I would have split the east coast into 3 regions at the time:

North: ME to NYC, with arguments for parts of North Jersey

South: below NOVA

Mid-atlantic: everything in between

His appeal is denied. He will remain permanently banned on BlueSky’s side.

It sucks that bluesky moderation trended in the right direction for like a hot minute last year and then has swung hard the wrong way.

Also, they just have no sense of optics. Like why the fuck should developers invest in their protocol if the people developing it seem this thin-skinned?
