feels like everyone went through great pains back during the earlier payment processor situation to go "yes, the game is yucky and taboo, you don't have to like it, but the law is a bludgeon and not a scalpel and if you don't fight for it then you'll get bludgeoned" and that didn't really take

sometimes i think about how pleasant playing lots of retro/indie games would be, and despite this, i almost never actually pick one up with any given unit of free time. i realized recently that the fantasy is alluring mostly because it presupposes i have much more free time than i do

i've really enjoyed the noclip2 channel because it has essentially recreated old gb quicklooks. sitting with an indie game for 40 minutes, one guy has played some of it and is showing the other guy coming to it fresh, for games that i would have never heard about otherwise
