Today my daughter's preschool is holding a farewell assembly for one of her classmates whose mother has no choice but to self deport. The school is hoping it will be joyful in tone, so we might make this less upsetting for this 3 year old.

In the response to this attack on academic freedom from the government the university pointed out that it looks like a politically motivated attack. It is. If the guy in charge is "Gender Critical" then this is 100% about revenge and nothing else. I have no doubt at all
The most significant thing about this is that the person inviting Joyce to speak is the head of the OfS , which has just fined Sussex University £585k for not being transphobic enough.
This is evidence that he is clearly not impartial enough to be in this position at the OfS.
