This kind of outcome-oriented thinking feels like Trump getting back to his slumlord roots. Like he’s trying to manufacture a story to get a building condemned so he can scoop it up cheap. It just comes so naturally to him, he doesn’t even perceive it as wrong. Fish in water.

I’m wondering why the Norwegians seem genuinely shook right now and it dawned on me that they have a heavy fishing economy like Venezuela and Trump has shown 4 times now that he has no qualms with unilaterally striking boats. They’re probably genuinely worried about their fishermen right now.

It just dawned on me that one of the reasons the Norwegians are likely genuinely shook rn is that Norway, like Venezuela, has a significant fishing economy, and thus many boats in its near international waters that could fall prey to the angry dictator. It’s not an empty threat as proven 4 times now
