For the sake of clarity; sexism, racism, fascism, nationalism, homophobia, transphobia, colonialism, apartheid, pro-birth, military power, and all adjacent right-wing ideologies are a form of weakness I do not tolerate. If you're a conservative, then block me and move on. You don't belong here.

Think of all the artists who just post commissions. That's all they ever have time for. You don't know what they like or who their OCs are because they're always working.

throw $$ at artists to draw their own shit, please. Like, genuinely, please.
if you want artists to make weirder art, you have to create stable living conditions that allow them to. homogeneity isn't a matter of artists lacking culture-- there are many soulful artists out there-- it's a matter of unregulated corporate dominance combined with artists who cant afford to create

1/ For the people who are asking: “Where are the protests?!” There have been many! Much of them organized by immigrants rights groups and leftists. Here’s a thread of some I have found, or know people who have attended. Feel free to add your own.

Thousands hit the streets today against #ICE + Trump's authoritarian push for mass deportations. Demonstrators shut it down in cities across Texas, California, Georgia, Missouri, Washington + beyond.

In Pflugerville, TX, people protested outside the site of a proposed ICE prison.

This. We need more of this, elected Democrats. Speak up now!
Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.): "Elon Musk, you didn't create USAID, the United States Congress did for the American people." And Musk "doesn't have the power to destroy" USAID. "We're going to stop him."

"We don't have a fourth branch of govt called Elon Musk!" It's "illegal, unconstitutional."

Once they normalize breaking the rules to go after people who are not citizens of this country, their next phase will be to go after people who are "not the right kind of citizens".

By then it will be too late to stop them.

Don't let them normalize any of it.

This probably seems grim, but given recent events, it might be a good idea to publicly display a declaration of life, especially if you fall into one of the target demographics

SOMETHING TO KEEP YOU OFF THE LEDGE:

"If you ever get the blues about the status of American culture, there are still more public libraries than there are McDonald's. During the worst of the Depression, not one public library closed its doors."
