🌱Dead oak seen during yesterday’s ramble. It has clearly had the attention of a saw at some point during life. Certainly predates the plantation of beech trees behind.

Here's Begonia ferox (means 'fierce'), a Rhizomatous type of species Begonia from the limestone hills & rocks of China. Fresh medium green leaves have large, spiky dark green bullae. Blooms: pinkish-white or pinkish-yellow. Younger leaves are flatter & the spiky bullae develop w/ age.🌱 #begonias
