Jesus Christ, how are you so unbelievably bad at this?

A deeply unpopular president is recklessly destroying our government, wrecking our democracy, covering up pedophilia and now threatening to use military force against our own citizens but you're tsk-tsking about protecting healthcare?
The Trump administration’s threat to deploy troops in Portland is unlawful.

Here’s a thought.

Focus on protecting the healthcare of the American people.

this is quite genuinely insane, and I want to believe the backlash to this will be severe

Vance's understanding of the end of World War II sure is different from mine.

(Allied forces did not negotiate settlements with Germany and Japan, and at no point did the United States consider letting Axis powers keep territories they seized by force.)
JD Vance: "This is how wars ultimately get settled. If you go back to World War 2, if you go back to every major conflict in human history, they all end with some kind of negotiation."

🎤 BOOM: Federal judge just ruled to *reinstate* the suspended ~300 NSF grants at UCLA.

Determines that NSF violated the previous court order by attempting to swap "termination" with "suspension".

The federal government is taking over the California National Guard and deploying 2,000 soldiers in Los Angeles — not because there is a shortage of law enforcement, but because they want a spectacle.

Don't give them one.

Never use violence. Speak out peacefully.

I, senator chucklefuck from Pennsylvania, promise no resistance, performative or otherwise.

I support trump and musk shutting down the government as they are already doing.

I disagree with the CR, but I sit down firmly with @schumer.senate.gov in doing nothing to oppose this administration.
The weeks of performative “resistance” from those in my party were limited to undignified antics.

Voting to shut the government down will punish millions or risk a recession.

I disagree with many points in the CR, but I will never vote to shut our government down.
