Actually, I don't want people who voted for Trump to starve because they don't get their SNAP benefits next month. I also don't want their children to starve. In fact, I sincerely believe we should feed all people who need food regardless of their vote. That might be radical, idk.

Not seeing a lot of people talking about the fact that there will be no SNAP next month, for anybody, if the government shutdown doesn't end in the next 9 days. It sucks that the people who have the power to prevent people from literally starving death actually don't care if people starve to death.

If you ever wonder why queer and trans people have high rates of poverty and houselessness it may be things like my wife being taken of the schedule for the next three days(unpaid) "for her safety" because some asshole decided to come in and start throwing slurs around because he saw a trans woman.
