People seem to be focusing, rightly, on the hideous ideology behind Rubio's remarks, but it's also just factually wrong. Europe is just as attached to national traditions, as socially conservative, as slow to respond to climate change and as hostile to migratory flows as America.

Rubio went full White Christian Nationalist in his Munich speech -not to be left behind by JD. The speech had echoes of Miller. It was pro-immigration retrospectively & selectively: inclusive of White European immigrants.
Rubio presented himself as Italian, Spanish & U.S. American rather than Cuban!
