Please forgive my ignorance. Do the Democrats have a leader, and if so, who is it?
I'm from Scotland, and it's a genuine question.
From here, it looks a little like The Judean People's Front, and The People's Front of Judea against the Romans. Badly missing a leader to unite the opposition.

the Ancient Romans were canny and knew one day skeptical conspiracy theorists would Question Everything, which is why across from every Ancient Roman building was a gigantic mural or mosaic depicting its construction including very specific details about the methods used

Romans 12:9 “Let love be without hypocrisy.

Detest evil; cling to what is good.”

No one who actually takes the word of God to heart would support a man like Donald Trump or support the cruelty of ICE.

John 13:35 “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

If I recall correctly, Greek people still called themselves "Romans" until like the 1920's or so when the Ottoman Empire fell (the Turks called it "Rûm" iirc) and Greek culture underwent a revival. #TOSSatNight
This is a classic historical misnomer.

The western half of the Roman Empire fell in the early 400's, but the Eastern half kept going until 1453 as the Byzantines. There was no break in the East, it just gradually transitioned into a Christian medieval state. #TOSSatNight

The Romans were somewhat obsessed with the manly concept of "virtus", from which we get English "virtue". #TOSSatNight

This is not fair to the Romans, who were famously cosmopolitan and deeply “contaminated” by foreign customs. #TOSSatNight

Back in the Roman times, tomatoes didn't exist (America wasn't discovered yet) or noodles (Chinese). Lots of Romans used "garum" sauce. #TOSSatNight

So how did we get the Jupiter 8? The Romans, influenced by Greek traditions, took the Greek gods associated with each planet and gave those planets the names of the equivalent gods in their own pantheon – Mercurius, Venus, Mars, Iuppiter, and Saturnus. 2/2 #TOSSatNight

Romans had no sun worshipers but they did know of other worlds--so that's the second contradiction. Romans knew about the five planets visible to the naked eye (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn) but this 'Earth' doesn't have the same solar system...1/2 #TOSSatNight

Latin is a language.
At least, it used to be.
It killed off all the Romans,
And now it's killing me.
All are dead who ever spoke it,
All will die whoever learn it.
Blessed death, they surely earned it.

Too many will have difficulty wrapping their heads around Jews being Palestinians. And that the Romans used the term to make the Jewish lands sound less so.
