I had a C64C growing up, but an original 1541 disk drive. At some point between now and back then the 1541 got traded for a 1541-II, which I regret. I have an affinity for both styles - tough choice!

I truly LOVE the look of the Commodore 64 Breadbin! I prefer it over the look of the C64C and its wedge case. Taking a straw poll, you are being given a C64 and can choose a C64 Breadbin or C64C, which to you pick and why. #C64 #Commodore64 #Commodore #WeAreCommodore

Yep, PSU has failed - still producing AC but not DC. I guess this must have been the only reason the C64C was sold as not working.

Ah boooo. This #C64 was sold as not working, and a few keys don't work for sure, and I don't trust the PSU...
However everything else works. Was looking forward to fixing it, but hey a cheap C64C! 😄

It’s an LED TV. The computer is an ultimate64.com/Ultimate-64-... inside a C64c case.

The C64C I bought a few years came with a 5 1/4" drive, and a couple of disks too, most of which still worked, amazingly.

I cashed in a couple of VICs, a 'silver label' C64 and a C64C, 2 Spectrum, 2 original PlayStation one was 'new in box', a PS4, 3 original XBOX, oh and a Switch - in the last 5 years. Oh, and a Switch too.

It's a message to stop messing with the dark side Breadbins and it's younger brothers the c64c and stick with nice pure Sinclair products! #Spectrum

after months in storage post initial acquisition, the c64c a friend gifted to me has been dusted, and with a new build power supply its full operational. no electrical debugging needed.
did need a new spring for one of the keys though. #commodore

I started off later in the decade with a C64C and friend's ZX Speccy +2, both of which I have again these days, so the home micros earlier than that have always been fascinating to me.
