Did you know Skunk Fish exist ? Well... technically they're a type of clownfish but still!

Pink (or Orange) Skunk Clownfish! With a little creativity you could make them into a smelly aquatic oc~

I have a group of fish oc's, but I might add one of these guys as a side character lol

Sorry, I'm just so jaded. I don't even know if most of the republican electeds read at a 8th grade level or above, let alone actually believe in science.

For those that do believe, here some ideas to help refute the bigots:

I just saw a transphobic post that was like, "In a sexual species, females have two X chromosomes and males have an X and a Y, I'm not a bigot it's just science." I'm a science teacher, so I commented this. First of all, in a sexual species, you can have females be XX and males be X (insects), you can have females be ZW and males be ZZ (birds), you can have females be females because they developed in a warm environment and males be males because they developed in a cool environment (reptiles), you can have females be females because they lost a penis sword fighting contest (some flatworms), you can have males be males because they were born female, but changed sexes because the only male in their group died (parrotfish and clownfish), you can have males look and act like females because they are trying to get close enough to actual females to mate with them (cuttlefish, bluegills, others), or you can be one of thousands of sexes (slime mold, some mushrooms.) Oh, did you mean humans? Oh ok then. You can be male because you were born female, but you have 5-alphareductase deficiency and so you grew a penis at age 12. You can be female because you have an X and a Y chromosome but you are insensitive to androgens, and so you have a female body. You can be female because you have an X and a Y chromosome but your Y is missing the SRY gene, and so you have a female body. You can be male because you have two X chromosomes, but one of your X's HAS an SRY gene, and so you have a male body. You can be male because you have two X chromosomes- but also a Y. You can be female because you have only one X chromosome at all. And you can be male because you have two X chromosomes, but your heart and brain are male. And vice-effing - versa. Today I learned both the phrase, "hot snakes," AND that it's not some weird furry thing. Based on context, it means venomous.

Although, being the internet, there's no guarantee that the phrase isn't also being used as a weird furry thing.

Today Morag learns the hard way that magical effects usually arent all they're chalked up to be. Speaking with animals sounds great on paper until you're surrounded by them. The only reason she doesnt take the bracelet off immediately is to not give Wally vindication

Went to the tropical house part of the local zoo today.
Two Colorado River toads looking critically and directly at the camera. They're sitting on an arid, rocky floor (don't worry, a small stream was running through the enclosure). A yellow-banded poison dart frog is sitting, looking alert, on a thick root-like piece of wood. In the background are lush green leaves with perforations, like small monstera leaves. Some kind of alarmingly fleshy looking anemone has two little shrimpy creatures on it, with similar colouring to clownfish - banded red-orange and white. A black and translucent-white striped cardinal fish in a very pink-purple environment. They have an oval-ish body shape with long thin pointy fins. The background features a red underwater plant which can only be described as having tendrils.
