Just for starters, consider Edward Woodward was much less famous in America when he originated McCall. Denzel and Queen Latifah's existing fame was a reason to watch their Equalizers even if you knew nothing about the original.

I think you'd find I welcome reboots and remakes more than most viewers/readers. The Denzel Washington and Queen Latifah Equalizers are successes in their own right, but I wouldn't want today's audience to be unaware how original the Edward Woodward TV show was, the template for the others.

This is exactly how my dad and stepmom talk about the Denzel Equalizers.
People are talking about Rob Reiner as a director which they should. But I think he also deserves some credit as an actor. Specially his role in Scorsese's Wolf of Wall Street where he delivers one of the Top 10 funniest scenes in that movie.

left Spotify in like 2022 because the sound quality is absolute garbage ass, there is nothing the equalizers can do for you. ended up listening to multiple albums like hearing them for the first time all uncompressed and NICE

Selling Sunset is a ridiculous show with lots of terrible people, but I just saw an episode where they held a full-scale funeral for a pup that passed away and I was legit choked up.
