#INTOLERANCE
I might've developed an intolerance for grease/hot dogs because I ate one singular hot dog tonight and now I'm sick and queasy while everyone else in the family is fine despite eating the same amount or more

I read Voltaire’s Treatise on Toleration (1763) tonight because I am doing an Enlightenment lecture tomorrow. I’m normally not camp Voltaire but “tolerance has never caused a civil war, intolerance causes carnage” got me.

And I made dinner

All things considered, not the worst! You could also have a bad back and a sudden intolerance of spicy food.

No.
Fuck you.
If it was ‘intolerance’ I wouldn’t be held together with duct tape because I pushed past ANOTHER limit YOU convinced me to fucking IGNORE

Equality is a human right.
We must deny and defeat racism and any intolerance in unity before genocide spreads like measles.
Another one of Tom Sewell's flunkeys has been denied bail. This time it's Brandan Koschel, who gave an allegedly antisemitic speech to applause at Bec 'Freedom' Walker & Jesse 'QAnon' Stewart's March For White Australia event in Sydney yesterday.

Sad!

He’s fine, I’ve gotten over my intolerance, but still I don’t ever want to be in a position where I am reaching out to Tom Hanks.
News from inside The Washington Post: As staffers wait for the axe to swing, they have cooked up a strategy to grab the attention of Jeff Bezos, which now includes appealing to wife Lauren Sanchez and even potentially reaching out to Tom Hanks.

Really hate my body’s intolerance to literally everything because I can’t even take a multi-vitamin without it giving me bad reactions. I haven’t taken it in like 4 days now and I’m STILL getting sick from them :(

it has felt like, for the last few years, it you don’t already have a spot on the team as a veteran they are only calling you up if you can tolerate being on a team with a korbin albert. it’s more like they have to curb issues with intolerant people more than separate from
the intolerance.
I asked Emma Hayes today:

How are the players in #USWNT camp taking in all that’s going on in Minnesota and nationwide?

How is she handling it with a squad that's not just younger than usual, but is missing many names who regardless of age might lead on this?

And how is she processing it herself?

So the specialist linked your cough and flu symptoms to the dairy products?

I’ve never shown any intolerance for lactose but even so I have very little dairy typically.

He's got some form of gluten intolerance, possibly full-blown celiac

Please let me explain a few things. Here are some things people can’t control: their race, their gender, their sexual preference, where they were born.

Things they can control: their beliefs.

Believing something is a choice. It is a philosophical fallacy that we need to tolerate intolerance.

I mean. To an extent. If you look at the regions that have a history of consuming cow milk, it's kinda just europe so lactose intolerance is way higher in other regions.

"Australia turns out to be a sensational place, albeit one of the most comfortably racist places I've ever been in. They've really settled into their intolerance like an old resentful slipper."

As a DSA, I’m pretty sure his intolerance of immigration is primarily based on labor policies and not skin color. It’s a big difference. He wants more strength for labor and that’s the root of his views re: immigration and migrants. Or I could be wrong.

When that whole terrible organization is gone and every one of its members is tried, then and only then will I begin to properly heal from the scars they left me.

Hatred towards intolerance is not unjust - it is righteous.

Intolerance cannot exceed MAGA’s right? Or is that backwards? 😬
January 27, 2026 at 12:50 AM
MAGA says we cancel them for the “opinions” or their “policy ideas” that entire thing, why can’t we get along?!

Their “policy ideas” are laced in egenics, bigotry, dehumanization and targeting vulnerable groups.

They are eroded tolerant society by trying to make intolerance a policy.

The fact that neither the Kremlin nor King’s Landing on the Potomac understand the geometry of the self-created problems facing them due to their unprovoked aggression is surely a coincidence, and not parallel hubris & cluelessness born of similar psychology…

I honestly feel like I've missed something because weren't institutions like this behind the Tolerance Unit we all did in middle school, which was explicitly about tying the Holocaust to broader notions of intolerance and state violence?
The US Holocaust Museum being more outraged by Tim Walz saying that, like Anne Frank, children today are in hiding from armed agents of the state, than they are about the fact that children are in hiding from armed agents of the state, is why Holocaust remembrance culture is in crisis.

More intolerance of teenagers, maybe if they had better role models rather than the lying, stealing, aggressive and racist politicians in Washington they would respect society.

It’s not intolerance to stand up to oppression. It’s not sowing hatred to speak out against oppression. Debate and “politics” are great but when the system refuses to play far you have to consider the reality of the situation. There’s no cavalry, no gamemaster or ref will step in. This is up to us.

What can we do about the rise of intolerance, prejudice, and Reform UK. A serious question, they are attracting finance from far right billionaires, and enemies of democracy. aren't bothered about blatant manipulation of truth. Historical racism confirms his credentials as leader of the party.
January 26, 2026 at 11:13 PM
There’s no question about freedom of speech when everyone thinks exactly the same and no one says anything out of the accepted norms. In this kind of climate, even the mildest questions sound like heresy, and the outcome is intolerance of other people’s beliefs, ideas, actions and freedoms.
