My best themed experience was ‘the highest Irish pub in the world’ in a tiny Peruvian village in the hills. It was one room, didn’t sell Guinness but did have knock off Irish whisky and a printed out Guinness poster.

If it were up to me, I'd ban All I Want For Christmas Is You and Last Christmas (and all their covers) from all business sites if only out of respect for the workers. I'd also ban Fairytale of New York from bars and Irish-themed establishments, again out of respect for employees.

Is “Halloween III: Season of the Witch” the best Halloween-themed film of all time? Obviously the answer is yes, but I can’t help wishing a little that they had gone with Nigel Kneale’s original screenplay, with it’s hilariously over the top anti-Irish scaremongering
