It's a simple kids show so don't have too many expectations, but with a bit of that Ghibli twist adapting Astrid Lindgren who I adore and I hope they make another it's time for children to watch The Brothers Lionheart

Everett, as a novice Gunbreaker in Bozja. At this point, his teacher hadn't given him Lionheart yet. He's also missing a few facial scars.

In the mythical land where nothing was ever lost I wonder what Lionheart would’ve done with Mission To The Unknown. Specifically for the movie edits. Would they have just tacked it on to Galaxy 4? Imagine the shock of that, watching a regular 4 parter and then you got 20 minutes of Daleks at the end

If you're ok with Old School, I liked Untamed by Elizabeth Lowell (it is a RIDE); pretty sure she's got some other Medievals as well.

Plus seconding the Kingston series and Jeannie Lin's stuff

Oh, and Solomon's Crown by Natasha Siegel (M/M between Richard the Lionheart and a French king)

A lot going on this one.
1) I get what they're going for "Yeah, that Lionheart" but I don't think it accomplishes anything. If you're just gonna repeat his moniker, at least have it as Cœur de Lion the second time.

2) Caster's character voice is so flattened it almost physically hurts.

"And in the sea that's painted black
Creatures lurk below the deck
But you're a King and I'm a Lionheart
And as the world comes to an end
I'll be here to hold your hand
'Cause you're my king and I'm your Lionheart"

"I'm telling you that I've lived a life where being betrayed isn't a surprise for me. So I have to ask...

'...have you mistaken me for a good man?"

Man, I really fuck with how FATE/STRANGE FAKE portrays King Richard the Lionheart. I think he might be my favorite Servant (after Cu Chulainn.)

Now I kinda want amnesiac Lionheart Jericho seriously thinking he's still a teenage cruiserweight, and the Rascalz let him join them because they're nice guys who feel sorry for him.

Chivalry has not died; its remnants remain in those who genuinely believe in it, and one day it will bloom once more.

Richard the Lionheart in history was a hero, but he was also an anti-hero. So he never truly felt like he lived up to the ideals of King Arthur and the Round Table. Yet he kept moving forward, so he could keep cherishing all that he believed in.

All the lines he said in this scene hit me.

A great knight who was highly fond of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. The Wandering King that borders between history and myth. That is King Richard the Lionheart!

Aside from Gilgamesh and Enkidu, seeing more of Richard's character animated in Fate/strange Fake was so beautiful.

Had to pause the Strange Fake episode because I was laughing too hard at them saying Richard was historically known in the Fate universe for having red dye/anime streaks in his hair

This was some of the best Fate we've ever gotten as a visual medium. Just a pure spectacle of beauty, tension and story. I absolutely loved every second of learning about Lionheart and seeing him steel himself before Enkidu. This was pure gas
