Finished up Iain M Banks' Excession last night and it's kind of wildly different from all the earlier Culture books. Like where they were just kind of thinly veiled angry criticism of the mid/late 20th century this is far more on a conventional scifi footing (I wished for but oops monkey's paw)

This may sound stupid but it's evidenced-based.
If you're inadvertently exposed to something traumatic and you're able, take some time to play Tetris.
There is a known association between playing Tetris post-exposure and a reduction in risk of PTSD and distress severity.

HEADS UP SOCAL PS5 USERS!! the Game Geeks repair shop in Garden Grove is the place to go for ps5 controller drift!! Lastong repair for under $40. Its taking mine 3 days because theres a whole bin full of others in front of me, its definitely a common problem and word of mouth- Game Geeks is the fix.
