That’s not a good trade for the Oilers D at all.
Kulak is underrated and Poulin being a W while doing great in the AHL doesn’t mean it translates to the NHL.

yes, i heard about that i don’t pay attention to hockey and i heard about that i’ll need to go back and look if its NHL teams or the AHL teams on tiktok more. but the algorithm is throwing it at me 😅

Usually, i would hesitate to call up a young goaltender, but by all accounts, Fowler is a very mature, confident young man and also, the Habs have the good fortune of having an excellent coach in the AHL with tons of NHL experience in Pascal Vincent. I am confident he gave K.Hughes good feedback.

Because they can’t Othmann him. He’s tearing it up in the AHL no doubt, but if this train is going off the tracks, it might be audition time to see if some of these Hartford guys can play in the NHL and get a head start on next year

Why can't we let our young players develop normally. Lol. Fowler doesn't need to get bombarded in the NHL right now. He needs to continue dominating in the AHL

Stefan Noesen has had such a weird career arc. First round pick -> part of Bobby Ryan trade -> bust territory -> depth NHLer -> elite championship year in the AHL -> 20 goal scorer in the NHL

Just noticing that Arthur Kaliyev has 15 goals and 25 points in 24 games with almost four shots/game in the AHL. The off-ice issues are what they are - hopeful he can fix that - but he's either the next great quad-A player or a guy who can contribute well in the NHL.

AHL hockey isn't ever coming back to the small cities again(NHL wants their teams in a big market or very close to the NHL team). My understanding is that it's exciting "old school" hockey full of local players and that is what is driving the sell outs(in a small rink)

I think he will be one of those guys that gets on fire in the AHL but not light it up at the NHL level. He has never impressed me when he came up
