Wow, Flyers! now I dare you to score some PPGs...

Sorry for not seeing this. Yes, it was his first even-strength goal. His four others are all PPGs

Aaron Gordon’s per 36 (13 games):

23.9 PPGs
59.8% on 8.9 2s
44.4% on 6.2 3s
86.7% on 5.9 FTAs

Trey Murphy per 36, since 11/14 (14 games):

23.9 PPGs
65.5% on 8.9 2s
37% on 7.2 3s
90.2% on 4.9 FTAs
I always saw Trey more like peak Klay offensively, but AG is an interesting comp as well

(Second pic is from AutomaticNBA on Twitter.)

Trey Murphy is averaging 23.5 PPGs, including going 65.5% on 2s, 37% on 7.1 3s and 90.2% on 4.7 FTAs since 11/14 (13 games.)

That calculates to a 65.8 TS%.

The #SeaKraken have 2 PPGs this game and now a chance to end it with a third!
December 11, 2025 at 6:01 AM
The last — and only time — Jordan Staal had PPGs in consecutive games: Feb. 13 and Feb. 15 in 2021.

So right now, the league is scoring PPGs at its lowest rate ever. As the teams continue to gel and the powerplays get better, that should bump scoring up. I bet that will have knock on effects as well. I would continue to watch this stat and check back 1/3 of the way into the season.

Lovely works! All of it looks great but I especially love your take on the PPGs and Ribbon is just adorable 💕

The first period went without any penalties, and it felt like it would be a really fast-moving game. Then the second period saw four penalties, and the third saw two calls, one being a double minor. No PPGs for anyone, so good work PK units. The PP wasn't awful, just not quite good enough to score.

insane stat. wonder who has the most goals in history with zero PPGs

Shough has been decent in 3 of his last 4 games and the Saints have won 2 of those (and had a chance to win a 3rd one.)

The defense has also only allowed 18 PPGs during that span.
Somebody wrote this this week.

Not counting TDs allowed by the offense (Pick 6 by TB on 102/6) the Saints defense has allowed 20.8 PPGs since October 5th.

That’s 9 games.

The Saints have gone 3-6 during that time, and have only scored 21+ 2 times during that span.

I don’t want to be greedy, but what if, just maybe, we got 2 PPGs in a game?
December 7, 2025 at 7:25 PM
#Preds

Stop taking too many penalties! Ur giving #CarolinaCulture easy PPGs! ➕️ turnover battle? Not good!

2 PPGs in one game? My god

After allowing two more PPGs in that second period, #CBJ goalie Elvis Merzlikins has allowed 15 PPGs on 70 shots in his 12th start, a brutal .785 sv%

Hard to criticize goalies on PK, since the other team has an advantage, but the old saying is also "Your goalie has to be your best penalty killer."
December 6, 2025 at 10:33 PM
And there goes the lead, a three-goal lead blown this time, two more PPGs allowed by Merzlikins, whose raw numbers on PK this season are dreadful.

It's 4-4 late second.

Minnesota Duluth stayed scorching on Fridays with a win at Western Michigan. Three PPGs for the Bulldogs. Western lost twice at home all last season, but this was the fourth time this year.

With PPGs from Kindel and Koivunen tonight, Pens have 5 PPGs from rookies already this season. That matches the most they've had in one season from rookies since 2006-07, when they had 22 (Geno 16, Staal 4, Letang 2).

Too many missed chances on their own PPs in the 2nd… and the Major at the end gives Seattle two PPGs… Game Over.
