dang, another i haven't played. i did play all the others, though. i kept trying to bring a Paladin through QfG3 and always gave up because that game was... mid. i should have just played QfG4 the way god intended: starting from scratch as a Thief

Katta's Tail Inn for sure. But I'd also like to shout out the inn in Tarna in QfG3; that little alcove-bed looked SO nice and cozy. <3

My first was the remaster/remake of QfG1. I loved it, and immediately got to play QfG3, and loved it. I got a catalogue for mail order, saw 2 listed, and had it like four months later.
But 4 blew all of them away. 5 was also amazing. But you are 100% right on 4. The darker tones, the overall feel.

My first was the remaster/remake of QfG1. I loved it, and immediately got to play QfG3, and loved it. I got a catalogue for mail order, saw 2 listed, and had it like four months later.

Found it, it was the QFG4 manual. Though the QFG2 manual does have "Gonad the Barbarian" instead. :D
(Also notice that the QFG4 char sheet screenshot still has the separate Paladin points from QFG3!)

Don't know if you've ever played the Quest for Glory series, but in the market in QfG3, you can find "An Forda" and "An Forda's Son."

I still tear up watching this. Near death Jane and her team nursed back to health then released . Jane once said chimps were not her favorite animal because they were to much like us.
