Yastrzemski slashed .233/.333/.403 with 17 HR, 28 2B, and 72 BB between the Giants and Royals in 2025. He was much better after the trade to KC (.685 OPS, 95 wRC+ vs .839 OPS, 127 wRC+). He was also very good against RHP (.829 OPS, 126 wRC+).

11 years ago today Donna and I met for the first time. Our first real date. Stopped at Hooters in Loveland on the way back from DIA. She wanted to get Hooters shirts and I wanted to watch game 3 of the Royals/Giants world series. She was too nervous to eat and I was so nervous I ate everything. 😂🤣😂

People have been beating this drum for 30 years. And yet, we didn't get Dodgers vs. Yankees until last season. Market inequities don't prevent the Royals/Rays/A's/Brewers/Diamondbacks/Giants/Mariners/Guardians/Tigers from competing. Why do owners in Anaheim and Chicago act like they have no money?
And I believe Seattle played well vs Dodgers in the regular season but also the Royals beat Madison Bumgarner in the regular season (I believe even sweeping the Giants) and we all know what happened in the World Series.
Well good news is the Mariners wouldn't be the one that gets boat raced by the Dodgers
