They don't get enough money. My friend is the emergency intake coordinator at our Humane Society...it costs a lot of money to bring these animals in, provide necessary health care, shots, spay/neuter, feeding, cleaning...they deserve all the money. They don't get enough as it is.

The kitties are FIV-negative yippeee!!! Flea meds and dewormer is GO. got some resources for low cost vaccines and neuter/spay but first things first, getting these lil guys free of their parasites so I can stop itching

Most counties, I'd dare say states, don't. Texas doesn't. Though, coming from one of the more affluent areas of California and currently living in the most redneck metropolis in existence I would happily encourage this because it's a first step to making these fuckers spay and neuter their dogs.

Will this animal be fully vetted before adoption? If not, I find it very sad. It is irresponsible for a shelter or rescue, or even a breeder to adopt out an animal that has not been fully vetted, that includes spay/neuter. They are just perpetuating the over population problem.

Sashay and Tango are back after their spay/neuter and their night at the vet. Aside from just the slightest bit of floofing from Flamenco, there's been no drama at all. Everyone had a mid-morning snack, and now they're playing.

Cats are rarely ever allowed the safety dogs are promised. Im literally on my hands and knees dude. cats are not "smart enough" to avoid cars and kittens are not old enough to be outside alone. Spay and Neuter your cats and look into harness training and de-sensitizing from a young age. Please.

5. Make sure your recovery holding area is temperature-controlled. Cats recovering from their spay and neuter should never be in spaces that cannot be kept at a regular temperature of around 75° F.
