We welcomed a great team from Public Services and Procurement Canada into our bustling warehouse for some volunteer time. They spent the afternoon building hampers for Edmpontonians in need.

Donate to advocacy orgs. if you can afford it (and can deal with the junk mail. :) Volunteer your time & skills likewise, esp. if your skills are expensive & relevant to their missions; some just need time spent on simple tasks like phone banking.

If I were to make a suggestion it would be to establish a non-profit which would help people locate all the documents they need to get the required paperwork to vote. That's out of my league but I have time and computer skills to volunteer.
