The 2010 Citizens United decision by the US Supreme Court has allowed corporate "dark" money to buy political influence for an unnamed few. Prof Robert Reich suggests how we can act locally to nullify this decision. I urge Vermonters to explore this straightforward constitutionally sound solution.
How to Get Rid of "Citizens United"
We can do away with it without a new Supreme Court. Nor do we need a constitutional amendment. There’s a far simpler way.

Vermonters are a strong people and while our immigrant population are feeling afraid and alone we need to call out the hate and racism being displayed by our own government and defend those that cannot defend themselves. Fourth, we can't assume that all opposition to solar will map onto the capitalist class. Even Bill McKibben makes this point in his excellent book "Here Comes the Sun" - a lot of rural liberal Vermonters are the biggest NOSIMBYs (NO Solar In My Backyard) and NOWTIMBYs (no wind turbine) types.
