I wish we had seen more Norgaard to this point, because I’m tempted to think Norgaard - Zubimendi - Ødegaard might be more balanced against a counterattacking team, and the idea of Zubimendi’s craft higher up the pitch appeals. But I don’t feel like we’ve seen enough to know.

Hincapie needs to understand this is football NOT rugby. Some of Zubimendi’s passes are miss passes except the one he tried to find Gyökeres. Merino should’ve tapped that Madueke cross in. Raya has kept us in the game so much with 4 saves.

Didn’t think zubimendi’s was even close frankly, compared to some of what cucurella and caicedo were doing especially. Maybe if it were like his 8th fouls but it was immediate

Could subs and game management have been better? Sure, whenever there's no win you instantly think that some other player would do something different. We will never know. But also, if Zubimendi's shot went in, or that chance later on, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

If that's your midfield depth, we have no redundancy for Zubimendi's skill set.

Issue with this is not a true reflection because it doesn't take into account the Saliba foul in the penalty area and Zubimendi's foul on the edge
Arsenal gave up five total shots for 0.20 xG. Thats about as dominant as it gets even if it did t quite feel that way in the moment (take it from an Everton fan, it felt that way in the moment on the other side).
