While it wasn't a common issue, in some of Geeper-Creeper's appearances he was given a visor instead of eyes which was consistent with his toy design. The show also gave him a mouth that the toy doesn't have but that consistently appeared.

1/2 Because the suit has to be inflated before it can even pop, which is accompanied by a loud hiss.
The closer someone is, the faster it fills up, which also limits the wearer's movement. But staying just outside creeper's range causes it to deflate again, allowing the person inside to move again.
