Yeah sorry poorly phrased, didn’t mean to imply you were. I think tho- often mainstream culture could and does exist in its own silos. When Oasis were culturally dominating the 90s, more people were listening to trance very weekend and that left no trace even then

We thankfully have a panel with breakers, so at some point, the electrical was updated a bit, but the labeling is awful, and outlets seemingly exist outside reality, so it'll be nice to trace the out and document it all.

You'd be surprised at how many little bodges like this exist in early model production stuff. Many times you'll see a cut trace on the board and wire hand soldered to replace it. This sort of thing happens loads, even today.
