Attends, elle a réussi à dire que si on était à ce point outrés par l'affaire Epstein c'est parce qu'on est antisémite ? 😮
Tain je suis fatigué. (Et j'apprends à cette occasion qu'Eipstein était juif accessoirement)

Ok we agree to disagree. He is speaking in a church, to folks who speak that language. I dont think hardcore secularism speaks to some others the way it does to you and me. I understand the fatigue you feel. I just suspect others are buoyed by that framing.

"Its been a long start to 2026. Compassion fatigue is very real, and likely something many people in Minnesota, and this country, are feeling right now because how could you not. Managing it is part of this resistance. Remember, this is a relay, not a sprint."

The 2nd point is more subtle, and focuses on the difference in creative vs evaluative work. And, oh, hey 👋…

I no longer write meaningful amounts of code as part of my job; reviewing other people’s designs, architectures, and code is pretty much all I do. The […]

I meant in general, not specifically to the movie. My Grogu fatigue notwithstanding, I’m looking forward to the film. Sigourney Weaver? Sign me up! I want to see some Filoni animated level adventure and characters again. I always live in hope with this franchise. I don’t see that ever changing.

This very long piece on AI fatigue by Siddhant Khare is quite good:

There are two points that speak to me in particular. The first (“Thinking Atrophy”) is one I regularly make to anybody who will (or is […]

GSR supports glutathione recycling and tissue recovery. In scoliosis, reduced recovery capacity can increase fatigue, inflammation, and pain despite stable X-rays. The curve isn’t the whole story.

📩 Upload your X-rays for review.

Yes....I'm old. I've had pain/fatigue for a very long time in muscles. Finally saw a neurologist & had the first set of tests done. On my return appt the dr's nurse said to me "Well, you're going to be disappointed bc the tests don't show you have MS." I was shocked and still have no answers.

Sudden burst of fatigue mid-writing while I was on a roll… now all I want to do is go back to sleep
February 16, 2026 at 6:45 PM
oh I'm sure that's contributing, I've just also had a lifelong issue with sleep regulation that I still haven't put a name to (ruled out a couple things so far though!). spontaneous fatigue, used to have constant insomnia (now hypersomnia), presyncope especially when I'm tired, etc.

in my dream just now, it was such a relief to be trying to get it up to date and then get called in that they decided to terminate me. like sad bc i liked being useful, but such a relief i didn't need to push past the fatigue anymore.

I'm really hopeful this means it won't recur anymore. 🤞

One of the things about having chronic fatigue is being too tired to go to bed. Like, if I want to take a nap I need to do some things first (get my earplugs, plug in my phone) and I’m simply too tired to do those.

4/7 End of the "all-carrier" era? The Admiral now favors smaller, better-equipped surface groups. This redistribution of resources aims to reduce the structural fatigue of front-line warships. 🌊

This is yours? It's a perfectly simple expression of the fatigue we're all feeling. I'd love to repost if I can making sure you get credit. Do you have a watermark?

4/7 Fin de l'ère du "tout porte-avions" ? L'amiral privilégie désormais des groupes de navires plus petits mais mieux équipés. Cette redistribution des ressources vise à réduire la fatigue structurelle des bâtiments de premier rang. 🌊

my body is like whatever. it is what it is, where it is. i need stamina to fight fatigue. is that doable, in this sick world?
February 16, 2026 at 6:30 PM
high fatigue day, but I really wanna get some shit done. After I take care of some chores and irl shit, I’m gonna try doing an art stream for the first time in forever to see if it’ll help me focus on my queue. I’m fuckin fed up with this slump.

I think this is interesting insight but I don't know if tired people don't vote. Like, the part about care fatigue seems bad and it seems like something should be done about that but I don't think "we would win elections if only we addressed care fatigue" is true.
i don't like "steelmanning" but i do want to say that the discussion around "we have to vote all the time to keep out fascism" has never really addressed the core of the issue, which is that it gets tiring for every election to be "the most important election of our lifetimes."
