I found a cellphone lying literally in the middle of the street on Tuxedo Blvd, at Elmhurst Avenue. I left my truck, turned on flashers and recovered it. It was unlocked, but I didn't try to examine it. I flagged down a police officer and tried to turn it over to her.

I’ve become a real asshole about it. That and people stopping in the road and putting flashers on to pick up DoorDash. No parking/stopping signs everywhere. Just the total disregard for other people’s safety infuriates me. It says so much about you as a person.

city driving and highway driving are two different worlds - keeping speed as low as possible in proximity to pedestrians is the number 1 priority in a city. on an interstate predictability and traffic flow is the number 1 priority. there’s a reason flashers are required under a certain speed.
