It's funny how stepping away from logic / system work over the past week/end allowed my brain to rest and shift gears to freeform ideas entirely organically.

i wish aion 2 was good. i know it was more or less a wow-clone back in the day, but seeing so many korean mmos hard pivot to action rpg or isometric action rpg is a bit sad. i'd rather take something close to a more traditional mmo formula since that feels fresher now by comparison. and more fun.

Washington Post Book World was always fresher and more interesting than the Times Book Review. The reviewers felt freer writing for it and, of course, it had a hometown feel for politics and American history. I even miss grumpy Jonathan Yardley, because he was always a true book man. Sigh.
Just wanted to salute, one more time, The Washington Post books section. I was fortunate to have all three of my books reviewed by the Post and I always knew they were in the hands of expert and experienced writers and editors. It was an honor.

It's like the Ravens were like "we really like how things were 10 years ago, how do we recreate that?" With all these rehires I realize I was hoping they were going to try something new if not bold, instead we're getting a fresher vintage of Harbaugh.
I once talked about how we should expand our minds to diverse experiences to gain fresher inspiration, and how more media should not limit themselves to very specific sources.
This is what I'm talking about. Can we get more action or fighting games that aren't just another Soulsborne? 😅
