I've worked in landscaping for forty years and I understand this fully. We sold my parents home that I had landscaped for forty five years. They ripped out everything. The shrubs never came back but the perennials will not give up. I still drive by and see them popping back up. Ha!!

This one’s a bit special. Lady Emily was an amazing woman to have designed this place. Acres and acres of landscaped woodlands threaded with birch lined paths to catch the moonlight. Gwrych isn’t a real castle, it’s a folly, so it could be designed solely for pleasure 🏰💛

Yes! I have owned and operated a landscape business called Winterbloom, Inc. here in W Oregon for 41 years! I sold it to our daughters a year ago. We specialized in the practice of including st least one winterblooming plant near the front door and walkway of every home we landscaped!

- removed carpet from my dining room & painted my living room
- planted six new trees in my yard
- painted the utility room

this year I have:
