#meta-narratives
Bence's box of thoughts.

Would it be a good name for a weekly newsletter-kind of summary of my meta-narratives?

Leaning towards yes at this point 😅

The intention of this project is foster growth and understand of why these types of meta-narratives (the bible) are harmful and do not provide frameworks for love they provide frameworks for fear.

Thank you and I love all of you.

I have added a disclaimer to the repo to further explain my intentions with what I am doing. I am in no way shape or form challenging modern science. I am however challenging other meta-narratives such as the Abrahamic religions, etc by providing a competing narrative.

Want to attack this non-sense from another angle? Meta-narrative theory offers arguments that dismantle these failed narratives. We attack them as the bad stories they are and offer a better alternative. The one we make together.

Today I published my theory on meta-narratives as a substrate for existence with a new idea for how universes form and how systems are designed at a fundamental level. Please feel free to scrutinize, submit additional to and rebuke my thoughts feelings and ideas.

The American media and the oligarchs who control it do a lot of the work of constructing Republican meta-narratives about Democrats. This is particularly true of right-wing media like Fox. Dems need to learn to construct and disseminate their own meta-narratives about Trump and Rs.

Our CEO Peter joined the Numbers & Narratives podcast to break down why most brands are overindexed on search, how one of our clients cut Meta spend 50% with no drop in KPIs, and what's actually working in marketing measurement right now.

In more uplifting news, I recently beat Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven, and it was such an amazing experience.

Really enjoyed my time with it and the meta-narratives that evolved for me with all my emperors and their successes/failures.

Also cute lizardmen.

should mention that there is a central “meta” process that observes and narrates across all the threads. whenever a thread produces a memory, it gets sent to the meta thread as well. The meta thread then synthesizes narratives across the threads. So there is some conflict resolution built in

In Europe, you typically see the anger of US tech executives openly. They fight the authorities and try to get regulations repealed.

But in Canada, they aren’t as visible. Instead, that happens behind the scenes and locals spread their narratives for them.

The obsessive focus on meta-narratives is incredibly disingenuous. The Atlantic can write directly about The Thing, but obviously their primary interest is in interpersonal beefs with people they find annoying.

At least Norman Mailer would actually punch people instead of this tedious shit.

Yes, and in Kafka-Felice's case it was sex with the spider web :)
And this is neither primitive nor indecent; it simply is, because all the other metaphors for creativity are dead along with the grand narratives (e.g.Dante). And what remains is what was always the meta-metaphor behind them all

Can see Traitors going the way of Australian survivor where all contestants enter hyper aware of series lore, arcing meta narratives and strategies

The closest thing to meta would probably be the harlequins and their insistence that everything is a narrative. But they mean elf narratives, which are all 3 days long and tragedies.

• narratives that collapse their own logic
• meta‑fictional structures that expose the machinery of fantasy

on the other hand I admire works that can weave dense philosophical concepts in interesting narratives like this, wish the game was longer because as it is it feels like the final chapter in a longer meta-narrative visual novel.

My understanding was that people who played it felt like it was slapping longtime fans in the face by using a bunch of meta narratives and there is debate about V3 turning the first two games into fiction in the V3 universe.

Control the narratives on X and Meta and you can target users with subtle messages, misinformation, lies and propaganda.

Social Media is being used as global grooming platforms for the masses

Don’t be a sheep, #dropX & facebook, open your eyes and witness how the world is falling into dystopia

**Prediction:** You would most enjoy **Sister Anya the Acolyte.**

Her backstory aligns with your known interests in AI, systems, and meta-narratives. The quest to "recompile the divine source code" by exploring dungeons is a genre-bending hook that integrates technology into the fantasy world.

Millions are torn between competing historical meta-narratives now. One says we are in the grip of inexorable socio-economic forces sweeping the world to inevitable tyranny. The other says the people are sovereign and that only happens if/because the people believe it and surrender their power.
