#reformism
We must give a scientific explanation of society, and clearly explain it to the masses. That is the difference between Marxism and reformism.

However any political party want to frame themselves. They can't have a radical element as reformism forces you to concede that in order to fall in line with rest of the liberals.

There’s an urgency in denouncing Doug Wilson, his reach, influence and especially the vile reformism that makes Rushdoony look like a centrist. But it’s been mostly crickets. 😭

that's far beyond enough. "primaring Schumer dems by voting Sanders dems in primary" Democratic Party Reformism scams should never be tolerated.
Senate Dems (including Bernie Sanders) are still fasttracking the regime's agenda.

Seeing liberals who joined with the more radical set for months to combat DHS brownshirts, even joining the call for abolition, now regressing back into subservience to Dem party so-called leadership doing the rewardism as reformism thing.
February 5, 2026 at 3:37 AM
It's the usual toothless liberal reformism.

I think there is something to this argument. The Greens have been almost invisible since the Federal Election in May - their return to polite 'constructive' reformism clearly isn't cutting through or working
Two good pieces on the Aus Greens and how they should be pushing way harder towards seizing on public discontent with elites right now

I have a hard time parsing this chart: is it saying all Democratic Socialism is bad because it's at once liberal reformism, capital-F Fascism, and Bolshevism all at once?

USA was taken by incredulity, not surprise; UK has forewarning.

The people pushing for reformism in UK aren’t even hiding it.
THEY EXECUTE AMERICANS AND THEN ANNOUNCE THEY WANT TO “TAKE OVER” ELECTIONS!!

THIS IS NOT BY ACCIDENT!!!

"Fix it" is allowing confederate soldiers to return safe to their families

"Fix it" is recruiting nazi scientists after ww2

"Fix it" is telling war crime agents "thank you for your service".

A true Fix would be a hard reset, not more reformism.

Yeah I figure with Mamdani 80-95% of his actual policy moves are, like, fine, but I seriously hate seeing people blow up a limited municipal reformism into FULL COMMUNISM because it's a handsome brown guy who's good at TikTok doing it.

The rewardism disguised as reformism deployed at police departments across the country. I hope more people are catching on to this racketeering op but I see evidence many aren’t. US media certainly isn’t going to let you entertain the idea police can be abolished. Cops are too great of a cash cow.
Democrats want commonsense reform for ICE:

End the roving patrols and racial profiling.

Take accountability and abide by the same rules as local police.

Masks need to come off, body cameras need to stay on—no secret police in the United States of America.

Reformism is dangerous in the wrong hands & with flawed purpose.

happening this morning in Minneapolis -- ICE agents drawing guns on observers. I reiterate again that it is only a matter of time before DHS kills more innocent people in Minnesota. Congress needs to shut this shit down right now.

Class independence is the most critical for me and all of my comrades. Funneling people into the DNC when you could use your million volunteers to challenge the capitalists is a completely backwards. A fav quote of mine (from this article marxist.com/communists-a...)

In terms of reformism or building power towards an eventual confrontation, I believe unions are the single best way forward, though I'm also broadly in favour of any praxis which builds community resilience and camaraderie, especially mutual aid and decentralized, non-hierarchical organizing.

At the end of the day, they’re collaborators with the Republicans, and serve the same system of corrupt capital and class interests. They also exist to capture any revolution energy and class consciousness, and channel it into defanged, feckless reformism.

In other words:

Reformism is dead, the Islamic Republic can not be reformed, just thrown on the trash heap of history.

That's kind of the point of all of this, this is why Zohran is a good thing. The US especially is so fucked up that even mild reformist social democracy (universal healthcare, etc) is neigh inconceivable without a revolution. Even reformism requires revolutionary tactics to win here.
February 1, 2026 at 6:14 PM
The idea is to welcome it with open arms. Encourage the normies getting behind reformism as a starting place. But to use it as a entry point to push beyond it, radicalize it further. This is an opportunity, an opening, not a disadvantaged

I agree we need to look at the UK but for completely different reasons

it is not "only bad ice officers"
it is not "only bad cops"
it is not "only some wealthy CEOs"
is it not "only establishment politicians"
it is not "make capitalism friendlier"

reformism is a dead end and forever will be, stop giving second chances to those who actively abuse you
February 1, 2026 at 1:46 PM
DUUUUDE They think they're so fucking enlightened but can NEVER do any self-reflection on how their actions, their reformism, and need to feel like heroes endangers others and endangers the revolution.

A vote for Sherrod Brown is a vote for continued genocide. He’s always been and continues to be a political operator with the interests of an apartheid state in mind. Liberal democrat reformism is a failed project, and millions are waking up to this. Find a pro-socialism platform near you

Americans are so insanely fucking cucked they can't fathom that our elected officials work for us and WE don't owe THEM shit. They should be shouting themselves hoarse fighting against ICE instead of getting upset that we're criticizing milquetoast reformism that will inevitable lead to more death.
