Excellent article. I feel your anger. Some in the media ie the BBC also ignored Mandelson’s transgressions and attempted to rehabilitate him. Very recently he was wheeled out on Radio 4 as a worthy commentator. The media is also part of the problem

Anyone confined should be in local, state, federal prison/ jail. Government has an obligation to rehabilitate incarcerated.
That said, ICE rarely detains criminals; border violation are civil and nonviolent.
