How pretty is this serpentine bedroom couch we recently completed for our friends at Oxonhoath? Reupholstered from the frame up, covered in Linwood Fabrics Omega Sherbet and trimmed with Samuel and Sons Cotton Candy Pom Pom fringe #vinallandmacey #reupholstered

Reupholstered this part of my dad’s car today! The previous fabric was pleather despite the rest of the car being entirely leather. And the pleather had ripped in the middle. So leather to the rescue, whipped this up over the course of a couple hours and he is SO CHUFFED

Let's chip in and offer to get his couch reupholstered if he will resign as VP in the next 24 hours and pledge to NEVER run for political office again.

A lot of books are going to go to my stall in the furniture boy's store. A lot of everything, actually. It'll be an ongoing yard sale plus reupholstered chairs, all purple.

Just got home from work. Nothing bad happened but it was busy as fuck. I feel like my brain needs a bath and my feet need to be reupholstered. 😩

It used to have this chic fabric that was very Beverly Hills. Once we moved to Palm Springs, Philip reupholstered it midcentury modern. Definitely a different look now, but it still swings. 😊 It’s Gregory’s favorite chair.

The new rug was advertised as orange, but it’s terra cotta – but I think it works. The swinging chair was Ira Gershwin’s. I was archivist for the Gershwin Trusts, and when Mrs. G died, she left me that. It used to have a canopy, and we’ve since reupholstered it, but it’s a lovely link to the past. 😊

As a kid we had these weird table chairs meant to be easily reupholstered so the seat part came off, leaving an empty frame/hole. Stood up on it. How lost my front baby teeth..
As older kid: Fell on a wood burning stove, threw out palm to save face. Hospital, giant blister, then went skiing. Fell.

Also, we bought our couches 15+ years ago, and we’re taking these suckers with us to every house (even get them reupholstered), because they have solid wood frames, and substantial cushions. I am not paying thousands for these oversized-futon cushions they call couches nowadays.

Update: chair has been reupholstered and nobody died, despite the staple gun

Ha. My mom reupholstered it every few years so it always looked like a new couch.

Just scrolling through marketplace to see if there is some furniture pieces that I have been looking for. And I’m reminded why I have stopped using marketplace. $400 for chairs that need to be reupholstered 🙃 make it make sense.

Id say a Beetlejuice chair (after the house remodel) got reupholstered.

I looked at roads between here and there and they don't seem to exist. How will I bring my reupholstered and refinished furniture and my many instruments?
