#stereotyping
Wrestling is a working class art form. Working class and art are both decidedly leftist ideals. Need some people to chill on the stereotyping.

It's not just own biases. It's years of stereotyping wrestling fans as nothing but rednecks, even though we have had several artists and musicians that adore the artform. It is more rooted in a classist narrative than biases.
Since #AEW has once again broken containment into non-fans:

Your assumptions about the education level, gender, and political leanings of professional wrestling fans are rooted in your own biases.

Listen to the fans who have always been here when they tell you this. You may learn something. 🤼🤼‍♀️

Published in 1950, this was the first comic book series to feature typical romance stories with Black characters that largely avoided the ugly stereotyping that was very common in many comics of the era. #BlackHistoryMonth

"The group that should be in the streets has been bought off by Jay-Z" is just bad, racist stereotyping, plus also wrong given that the most widespread and significant protests for the rest of the decade were led by Black Americans

" ... *stereotyping.*"

"You can see this very particular bored, hard, dead look in strippers, prostitutes, and porn performers of all locales and genders” is a sentence David Foster Wallace wrote and goes to show that no one is immune to lazy stereotyping cliches in their writing, esp. when they try to write about SW

I could be stereotyping here but I feel like a fuck ICE chant at a wrestling show is *real* bad for Trump

Just finished "Hello Sunshine" by @keezyyoung.bsky.social, and what a wonderful work of art it is. It is so refreshing to see mental illness at the center of a book without stigmatizing and stereotyping. To see supportive friends, loving family, and a caring community represented so beautifully.

is comparing/stereotyping dog breeds like dog racist

This could be a great time to stop stereotyping wrestling fans, who are largely left-leaning, LGBT+, and intelligent. Maybe try watching an AEW show, it's a pretty good time and nothing like the WWE stuff you may remember!

My work was usually selected because people wanted one specific thing from me: this was usually an anime style, a sort of stereotyping or shorthand for what I was fully able to do. Because I was in no position to negotiate, I had to take what work was available to me.

Can't believe this guy, stereotyping his roommate like that smdh 😔

This. No matter what they do, trans people will always be illegitimate for those people

And they trash the notion of gender stereotyping to weaponize it, as a bonus

Most of the time when I see a dominatrix depicted in media there’s a lot of stereotyping, or the portrayal is purely comedic. We should do better.

A bunch of xenophobic, disingenuous and shitty comments and stereotyping them and yeah, the Japanese side of things aren't perfect. We know that but you're just saying any racist shit that makes you seem like a piece of shit.

Most criticisms I hear about JJK does seem genuine but most of y'all(2/ )

(2) From my series "Seniors"

On the other side: There's nothing wrong with that. Who doesn't like a cute papa-bear?

Anyways... I hope you enjoy the series! And I'll try to convince AI to be less stereotyping, if I continue making more pics.

that said its now your mission to vote Juggle Man to fight stereotyping on the role of women. Vote Juggle Man for feminism.

Silent Movie - Mel Brooks

Some great gags and slapstick!

This musical score rules.

Wish there wasn't a recurring f**s joke. It's hard to tell with Brooks if he's in on the joke or just stereotyping.

wow, that's really insensitive stereotyping to all my breakcore girlies.

We can't really explain it, and we're not even Italian, but my friend and I are offended when the girl goes "Ayyyyy!" We've really grown to despise her and her broad stereotyping.
February 1, 2026 at 12:31 AM
Okay I've blissfully missed this. I got a slight ick just from the barbie stuff and all the stereotyping in general autists themselves do too, their beliefs that their qualities generalize way beyond how much they really do.

I wanted to show a series called "Senior" to show, that sex and fun doesn't end beneath 50+, but - probably rightfully so - some people seem to be offended by stereotyping. So I suppose, this will be my only pic from the series.

i've never seen sydney sweeney act bcos im just that out of touch i guess so all i know from her is snippets and quotes from interviews and every single time, without exception, what she's saying is so fundamentally stupid

it's difficult bcos i don't wanna fall in to stereotyping her but holy fuck
January 30, 2026 at 12:52 PM
yeah i might be stereotyping based on selection bias, there's almost certainly a greater variation of individual national detectivetypes out there.

also, Russian military detective shows are a lot of fun (to me anyway), the Great Patriotic War being an endless font of heroic inspiration.
