#turnoff
...okay I may have to reconsider menace now. I checked out their promo media and it was very "we're the Battle Brothers devs. Here's a bunch of military bros, and here's one token woman in what looks like a tutorial" and it was kind of a turnoff.

Right. The thing is, I’m hoping to keep myself writing and creating even as I search for a new home. I went in *knowing* the money would be low. So that wasn’t even the turnoff. It was the attitude that made me run in the other direction.

I can’t stand looking at him, hearing him, reading transcripts of what he said, he is a total turnoff. Has always been a turnoff to me.

A few months ago, I saw a post looking for freelance game reporters and reviewers. I’m looking for something full-time, but I’m open to freelance where I can manage it. I got this reply from a guy running a very small site. Admittedly, the rates were low, but the attitude was a much bigger turnoff.

The trailer wss such a turnoff I never even bothered to go see the movie, and am glad I didn’t.

I tend to like the story modes of fighting games which is very much not what most fighting games seem to care about these days and, crucially, the business model of "Pay us for a couple new characters every few months" is a turbo-turnoff for me.

Tbh, those headlines are a big turnoff and I've stopped watching as much Meidas Touch as a result. Been watching Pivot and Raging Moderates and the Bullwark, but just finding myself not wanting to click on hyperbolic headlines. I hope they ease back

para mí es un turnoff, jajaja. es todo un viaje de querer ser seguido/admirado pero no querer seguir/admirar. 🚩

While I think it won’t suffer from the spider-man design problems or bomb as hard as spider-man did, I’d bet a dollar both it and TMNT fall short of financial expectations because I think the setting and general real worldness is a big turnoff to a lot of folks.

Speaking as a Missourian, the fact that AIPAC thinks Josh Hawley is worth giving money to is already enough of a turnoff even without all the other crap they do.

If you like conmen and criminals of circumstance (or any of the actors) it's pretty good. If church and Jesus is a turnoff then know there's a surprising amount of it about halfway through

We are also not valuable to cishet men as breeding vessels, bc our masculinity is a turnoff to them. That's one reason they're fightingbsonjard to deny us access to transition.

It's the exact same bullshit I was told my entire life, by cishet men.
“Transphobes see inherent value in tmasc people and want to save them bc they can be incubators” if a human being is only spoken about in terms of their usefulness they become a commodity. when commodity ceases to generate value it is liquidated. open your fucking eyes.

I really want to like Stargaze but it has the same pacing issues while also feeling far less inspired than stampede, like the scenes are unengaging and simply going through the motions of what they wanted. And the pacing of Stampede was already kind of a huge turnoff to a show I otherwise adored.
:( the way millie looks is super disappointing. she just looks a little tall....

The downside is STFUFTLOG ABOUT YOURSELVES. It’s ALL ABOUT YOU. It’s a GIANT TURNOFF. Stop centering! The constant whining is just awful. Can you even hear yourself? People are DYING.

Going back and reviewing his posts on the subject, clearly he doesn't think being the kind of person who is inclined to make multiple self-pitying social media posts about {deep inhale} **bEiNg rEjEcTeD** isn't a turnoff. 😒

Seems pretty obvious why he failed the vibe check.

This crying wolf all the time is really a turnoff. I stopped watching the worst of these podcasters because of all their constant unwarranted sensationalism. It really hurts their credibility.
Any time there is a rumor about some Trump video that will end, I just laugh.

His list of crimes is obvious and in the public eye, it hasn’t stopped shit.

Well that bag of oats around her neck could be a turnoff :)

i think the concept of having a chat history available is so deeply entrenched in chat programs nowadays that the inherently ephemeral nature of IRC would be a turnoff to everyone other than the nerds who already know what IRC is
