Nearly 20 years ago, Ueno-san, Noji-san, Tabata-san, and I discussed if we can engineer ATP synthase with multiple a-subunits, it may rotate faster than the wild-type, driven by the proton motive force. Now Ueno-san has finally made it happen, but it already existed in nature!

Then when I got my visa to study in Japan the newborn panda in Ueno died of pneumonia, and the day I booked a trip to Scotland the panda there had a miscarriage. Also I got an invitation to a wedding in San Diego and the next day it was announced that China was taking their pandas back. Cursed.

well it was fine, much like the manga I enjoyed it but half the jokes don't work, and when stretched out to 5mins and scenes elongated it's just becomes painfull icl, I'll say the extra anime bits and VA work makes up for it though
