oh wow I'm actually on the four year anniversary of my neocities page this month, at least going by the oldest Wayback Machine capture. It still looks like I haven't learned more than basic HTML, because I haven't, but it still feels really nice seeing how much my little home has grown.

I went to a White Sox game against Cleveland in August 2021 with my best friend. It was my first in-person hangout with him since before Covid, and the Sox were good that year. Two idiots behind us loudly talking about how they were betting on each pitch almost ruined the experience for me

Yeah, this result is forced by picking 2021 as the zero point and then doing year-over-year calculations against crazy high average hourly wages from 2020, during the height of the pandemic when the labor participation rate was at all time lows.

i say this because Murphy, as an incumbent, only won 51-48% in 2021 (he won 56-42% in 2017, Sherrill won 57-43% this year in 2025). His approvals both in 2021 and 2025, while not as bad as Christie in 2017 (which was like 15%!!!) were in the mid-40s in exit polls, in NJ!!! Trump saved Sherrill IMO.
