So yeah, I took a look at the previous Nobel peace laureates and no US president has ever received the award for brokering a peace.

Maybe Trump will be the exception, but I’m not certain that even if this truce holds the Nobel committee will reward a US president warring against US citizens.

Second, Trump’s approach to peacemaking is a little like when Michael Scott decided to address all of Dunder-Mifflin’s HR complaints at the same time by reading them out loud in the office and trying to find out who wrote the complaint.
