Glad to see the "Chicago rat hole" (rodent-body imprint) of January 2024 Internet fame was studied more, but just to add my $0.02: Many folks missed the tracks leading away from the body imprint, meaning the squirrel (not rat) fell & splatted in wet concrete, but then walked it off. 🧪🐿️🐾

It’s been raining on and off since last night. We needed it, I love it, but it’s making me sleepy. I took a nap, now Paul’s taking a nap. After lunch I’ll take another nap. I baked biscuits (TJ’s in a tube, they’re easy and good), but other than that my to-do list is put off until tomorrow. 😴🌧️

NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.
